In order to survive in today’s fiercely competitive business environment, companies need to manage effectively the entire set of activities involved in the production and delivery of goods and services to their customers. In particular, globalization trends, increased demand for product variety, frequent changes in fashion and technology, high customer expectations, and the rapid development of e-commerce add major complexity to an already challenging task. All products, services, or activities are all projects which needed to be managed with a set of specific knowledge, skills tools and techniques. This course introduces the basic concepts and methods of project management including project planning and control, schedule planning and control, project cost estimation, project quality management, project outsourcing, risk management, project performance evaluation, project portfolio management and agile project management.
